My 42nd birthday is coming up, so time for a refresh of this page.
My existing Microsoft 365 add-ins are continuing to grow at a nice steady pace and I’m working on a new product that will be released later this year I hope.
Boathouse is solving customer’s problems, but there just aren’t enough in the target market (Paddle customers), so my focus is on a steady stream of marketing, helping the ecosystem and building a community around it.
In my daily work AI has taken an even bigger role. I’m slowly figuring out the right balance of crafting code and letting AI do the heavy lifting in the boilerplate and repetitive tasks. It’s a game changer in the personal projects department though, with me being able to spend little time for little tools I want or need.
But my main main focus has been on building healthy habits. This includes kcal logging just to make sure I’m on a nice steady deficit. Cardio (and recently alternativ with strength training) in the Gym 5-6 times a week, and of course as always a lot of walking.
I’ve had to swap my daily reading time for Gym time, which was a deliberate decision, but a bit sad. I’m trying to shift some of my evening relaxation time to reading, but for some reason that’s harder for me (and if that’s the trade-off for better health, then so be it).
I’m about 2 weeks away from a large solo summer trip. This year I’ve decided to take a bike from Dublin to Vienna (but not biking all the way, more like a bike, rail, boat adventure). Reminds me of my digital nomad days, but there’s a lot more planning involved this time.

Depending on where people find me, they get a different impression of what I’m doing now. So, here’s my attempt at sharing my current activities with you. As these change, I will try to more or less update these regularly.
